Charity Classic X Golf Tournament Presented by Builders Insurance Group Donates $50,000 to Kids’ Chance of GA, Inc!

 
The 10th annual charity and sporting event took place on Thursday, September 29 at beautiful Chateau Elan Golf Course. Through the support of 70 corporate sponsors and raffle donors, 164 golfers and 30 volunteers, we raised $50,000 for charity! All of this year’s funds will support Kids’ Chance of Georgia, Inc. in its mission of providing educational scholarships for the children of Georgia workers who have been catastrophically injured in work-related accidents.  These young people move on to serve our communities as doctors, lawyers, teachers and more.

In a statement to our donors, Forrest Hale, Executive Director of Kids’ Chance had this to say, “More than 660 scholarships have been awarded since 1988 and we have 32 students currently receiving awards. The importance of these funds for our graduates is immeasurable and will have a positive life-long impact on every one of them and their families.
