Builders Insurance Group Declares 12th Consecutive Dividend

ATLANTA, March 17, 2008 – Builders Insurance Group today announced that member company Builders Insurance (A Mutual Captive Company) will distribute a dividend of approximately $1.6 million to its qualifying Georgia policyholders in the second quarter of 2008. This payout marks the Company's 12th consecutive dividend since 1997 and will bring the total amount of dividends paid to more than $42 million.

''We are pleased to once again share the financial returns of our Company with our loyal policyholders who operate safe work environments,'' said Allen Richardson, Chairman of the Board of Directors for Builders Insurance Group. ''We hope this dividend payout will serve to demonstrate our continued commitment to our partners.''

''In 2007, our business, like most everyone else in the housing industry, was impacted by the market downturn. However, the stability and strength of our Company built over the years has enabled us to make a profit which we in turn are investing back in our policyholders through this dividend distribution,'' added Patrick Mitchell, Builder Insurance Group's President and CEO.

To be eligible to receive a dividend, a policyholder must have maintained continuous coverage with Builders Insurance (A Mutual Captive Company) since December 31, 2004 and must be without any unresolved receivable balances. In addition, the policyholder must have maintained membership in either a local chapter of the Home Builders Association of Georgia or in the Contractors Benefit Association.
