Builders Announces 30th Consecutive Dividend
ATLANTA, GA, February 23, 2026 — Atlanta-based commercial insurance leader, Builders, has announced preliminary financial results for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025. The “A” (Excellent) AM Best-rated company reported continued earnings strength, disciplined underwriting performance, and surplus growth during 2025. As a result, Builders has declared its 30th consecutive annual dividend to qualifying Georgia policyholders.
This year’s dividend of $1.5 million, based on 2025 performance, brings total dividends paid across three decades to more than $59 million.

- Statutory Surplus: $408 million
- Consolidated Combined Ratio on a statutory basis, including policyholder dividends: 103.7%
- Loss Ratio: 59.5%
- Members’ Equity: $392.5 million
The dividend was issued in mid-February to Georgia policyholders who have maintained continuous coverage with Builders since January 1, 2024, demonstrate an acceptable loss ratio, maintain membership in a sponsoring association, and remain in good financial standing with Builders.
