Celebrating Laura Brightwell’s Distinguished Alumni Award

Huge congratulations to our Board Director, Laura Brightwell!

Laura has been selected as one of two 2026 Terry College of Business Distinguished Alumni at the University of Georgia and will be formally honored at its annual gala in Atlanta next April. This is a tremendous recognition for her significant achievements in the business world and community. 

This is truly an honor for one of our own!

About Laura Brightwell

• Laura earned her BBA from the University of Georgia (UGA) in 1989. 
• Her impressive career includes over 25 years at Coca-Cola Enterprises in Atlanta and London, retiring as senior vice president for public affairs and communications and an executive officer of the multinational company. 
• Her leadership includes her current role on the Builders board of directors, where she chairs the Management Development and Compensation Committee and serves on the Investment Committee.
• She has a long history of supporting UGA’s Terry College, including as an emeritus Alumni Board member, past chair of the Dean’s Advisory Council, and a founding member and donor of the Terry Women’s Initiative, now the Terry Edge Network.
