Home Builders Association of Georgia

The Home Builders Association of Georgia (HBAG) is part of a three-tiered network of organizations on the local, state, and national levels who share a common mission: to promote an environment for attainable and sustainable housing in Georgia through advocacy, education, and networking opportunities. HBAG represents approximately 3,500 builder and associate members. The state office produces several publications for members annually and maintains standing committees for Government Affairs & Regulatory Affairs.

HBAG has endorsed Builders as the preferred insurance provider for Workers’ Compensation, General Liability, Commercial Package, and Umbrella for their members for nearly three decades. This is because Builders is the largest domestic P&C insurer in the State of Georgia with a strong legacy in the Georgia homebuilding industry. Both Builders and HBAG, in partnership with local independent agents, benefit mutually from this ironclad relationship by sharing expertise and experience with the needs, risks, and trends across the ever-changing landscape of Georgia homebuilding.
